About
About Construction Drone Services
Construction Drone Services provides evidence-first drone inspections for roofs, façades and building envelopes across Scotland and the wider UK.
We work with building surveyors, architects, engineers, insurers, facilities teams and contractors who need clear, high-quality visual data to support decisions — especially where access is difficult, risky, disruptive, or expensive.
What we do
We capture structured aerial evidence that helps professionals move quickly from “we need to see it” to “we can plan the next step”.
Typical outputs include:
- High-resolution photos (organised and named for fast review)
- 4K video for context and coverage
- Orthomosaics / mapping where scale and consistency matter
- 3D models / photogrammetry for complex geometry
- Thermal imaging where appropriate to the brief and conditions
Evidence-first (and what we don’t do)
Our focus is capture and delivery of usable evidence.
We do not provide:
- defect diagnosis
- structural opinions
- specification or design advice
- recommendations for remedial works
Why clients use us
- Safety: fewer high-risk activities at height (reduced need for roof walking, MEWPs, or scaffolding for initial inspection)
- Speed: rapid capture with minimal disruption, often within a short site window
- Clarity: files organised for report-writing and handover
- Professionalism: robust planning, risk assessment, and a calm approach on live sites
Compliance and privacy
We operate with a strong emphasis on safe, compliant and considerate flight operations. We plan each job to minimise risk and avoid unnecessary capture of private areas, and we handle imagery responsibly.
If you need additional documentation for procurement (e.g., insurance evidence, RAMS, privacy approach), we can provide it on request.
Where we work
We’re Scotland-based and work UK-wide depending on the brief, access constraints and programme requirements.
